Bottomless (also called naked) portafilters are an essential tool for identifying and correcting extraction problems that cannot be seen with standard spouted portafilters.
Bottomless Portafilters are great as the filter basket is exposed so you can see the whole extraction process and diagnose any problems with the shot. They are also an excellent tool for training as channeling and colour can indicate an uneven tamp or incorrect grinder setting.
This 58mm bottomless portafilter was designed to work with the Gaggia Classic Pro and More Dual Boiler Gaggia Espresso Machine.
